Model: Pilatus PC-24 Versatile Businessjet Engine: Turbine Wingspan: 3.40m Length: 3.60m Take-off weight: app. 20Kg Scale: 1/6 Pilot: Julius Jezerniczky Event: RC Airliner Meeting in Germany (Oppingen) July 2021The Pilatus PC-24 is a light business jet produced by Pilatus Aircraft of Switzerland. Following the PC-12 single turboprop success, work on the jet started in 2007 for greater range and speed, keeping the rugged airfield capability.viaWith a length of 2,80m and wingspan of 3.04m and a flying weight of around 18 kg it is designed for experienced pilots. The PC-24 has excellent flight characteristics thanks to a solid and precise construction. The airplane is powered by two Lambert Kolibri T 45/50 turbine engines producing 5kg of thrust. The model is built up completely in wood, and I tried to design it as accurate as possible to the real one.The whole model is finished in color, with rivets and cladding, and the one-piece wing is removable. The pilot flying this airplane in this video is Julius Jezerniczky and the co pilot is Daniel Vogt.
